Export to Excel

Open a take-off’s results and download the Excel workbook: the working copy for you, or the client issue once no row is held. You can also print the take-off sheet, or download it as a CSV.

One take-off

  1. Open the project, go to the Take-off runs tab and choose View results.
  2. Choose Workbook (working copy) for the full workbook, with the rate build-up and the registers. Every figure in it is a live formula.
  3. Choose Workbook (client issue) for the copy you send a client: quantities, thickness and totals only.
  4. Choose Export take-off for a print-ready take-off sheet. Print it from there, or use Download CSV on the same sheet.

Several take-offs in one workbook

  1. On the Take-off runs tab, tick two or more finished runs.
  2. Choose Combined workbook, or Client issue for the client copy. A drawing measured more than once is counted once, from its latest measurement.

Good to know

  • Workbook (client issue) and Export take-off wait until every held row is approved or corrected. Until then they read not issued. Workbook (working copy) is always there.
  • Pipe stays in linear metres and duct in square metres, on separate lines.
  • The working copy also lists the counted valves, bends and tees, without a price.
  • Nothing goes to a client until you send it yourself.
