Take-off & tender engine
Drawings in. A take-off to check.
For insulation and cladding contractors. Pipe and duct insulation take-off; cladding is listed as an exclusion or priced by your rate card.
Teastra Estimator prepares a take-off and a client pack preview for you to check before anything goes to a client.
- Run by Alumitherm Assist Ltd, CRO 774826
- Your first five drawings are free
Upload the drawings, then run the take-off. The Estimator reads them and prepares the measured take-off, the materials, the labour and the pricing to your rate card.
Uploading a drawing does not start the take-off. You run it, then you review the figures on the drawing.
Built in Ireland for Irish and UK contractors in mechanical and thermal insulation and cladding.
The take-off problem
The work between the drawings and a price.
Print the sheets. Scale them. Measure every run. Count the fittings. Build the materials list. Work out the labour. Then price it.
That work sits with an estimator, or with you after the site has shut.
The Estimator was built for that work.
How it works
Drawings in. A take-off to review.
Upload the drawings.
A client sends drawings. Upload them into the Estimator from your phone or your desk.
The Estimator prepares a preview.
It prepares a measured take-off and a client pack preview for you to check.
You review and approve.
The measured take-off is laid over the drawings, so you can see what was measured. You check it and approve it. The figures stay yours.
From the site
The drawings often arrive while you are still out.
Load them from your phone.
The Estimator prepares a measured take-off for you to review.
What it prepares for you
The whole package — not just the measurements.
The measured take-off
Every run and every area, measured off the drawing.
Materials & quantities
The schedule. Pipe insulation is rounded up to full packs.
Labour & pricing
Worked to your own rate card — your rates, your margins.
Review on the drawing
You review the measured take-off on the drawing.
A copy when you want one
When you want a copy, you can download the figures you have checked, as CSV or Excel. The review stays on the drawing.
Why it's different
It thinks in the work — runs, diameters, duct area, fittings, rates.
The whole package
It prepares the measured take-off, the materials and the pricing.
After you run it
You run the take-off once the drawings are uploaded. You review when you are ready.
From your phone
Upload the drawings and review the results from site.
This trade
Runs, diameters, duct area, insulation, cladding, fittings and rates.
What it costs
Your first five drawings are free.
After that, one credit is one PDF file. You buy credits up front.
Founding pricing applies. What a credit costs depends on how many you take.

Built by someone from the trade.
David Peck built the Estimator. He is the founder of Teastra and managing director of Alumitherm Assist Ltd, a subcontracting company in Ireland.
He has spent more than 30 years in thermal insulation and cladding, in Ireland and the UK.
He knows how long a take-off can wait. He built this to help with that work. It is kept separate from the rest of Teastra.
Get started
Load a drawing. Review the take-off.
Buy it on its own, or use it alongside the Teastra back office. It prepares the take-off. You review and approve it.
This is Teastra Estimator, not Teastra itself. Teastra, at teastra.com, is the back office — you hand the paperwork in, it files what it is sure of and asks you about the rest. The Estimator is the take-off and tender side, with its own sign-in. Sold on its own, or alongside Teastra.
