Does it add fittings and bends?
It counts them on ductwork, but it does not add them to the price yet. Teastra Estimator counts the duct bends, tees and reducers it can see on the drawing and lists them for you to check. Measured lengths run along the centre line, through the bends, for pipe and duct alike.
What it does today
- Each duct bend, tee and reducer is counted once, on the size of the duct it sits on.
- A fitting it cannot tie to one size is held for you to check, not guessed.
- End caps and offsets are not counted.
- The working copy of the Excel workbook lists the counted bends and tees by service, without a price.
Not built yet
- Coming: fittings priced as their own lines, once the counts have been checked against reviewed take-offs.
